We are super excited to announce to everyone that our first event will actually be taking place September 9th 2023! We will be having a golf tournament at Avalon in Burlington! A lot more details and opportunities to play, donate and sponsor will be coming soon! Save the date and get ready for a fun event that is going to help a lot of families in need! Welcome to C**ts Corner. Our son C**t was born with Spina Bifida on July 18th 2022. Spina Bifida is a neural tube defect where the neural tube does not close all the way. When this happens the back bone that protects the spinal cord doesn’t form as it should. This causes damage to the spinal cord and nerves. We were told with where this neural defect was, that C**t had a very small chance of being able to use his lower extremities. After finding out about C**ts diagnosis we started doing a lot of research on what it is and what options are available for possibly needing wheel chairs, walkers or anything else. What we found was a lot of non profits that give a lot of money to research (which is amazing) but not a lot of help for families who are blessed with a beautiful son/daughter who has been born with Spina Bifida. a lot of families are going to need help financially with equipment they may need and that’s where C**ts Corner is wanting to help. We want to be able to give families a little bit of hope in a very stressful and unnerving time.
