Great News for our Stanton residents!

🚨 ALL EVACUATION ORDERS LIFTED 🚨

All evacuation orders related to the Garden Grove hazardous materials incident have been lifted.

Unified Command (Fire, Law, EPA, and County Health) have confirmed there is:

✅ No chemical leak
✅ No threat of explosion
✅ No threat of fire
✅ No risk to the public

Map Details:

Green shaded area on the map = Repopulation area

Red line = Road closure (Western between Chapman & Garden Grove Blvd.)

Red circle = An exclusion zone to allow hazardous materials teams to continue monitoring the tanks out of an abundance of caution (no residents affected).

Hello to all of our Lion Family. We've received support from many of you during this difficult time while this critical emergency continues to affect so many. There are numerous of our club members that have been displaced due to this event, but everyone is safe and has a place to stay. Council Member and Lion John Douglas Warren has been working tirelessly with the City of Stanton officials, OCFA, and other agencies to keep us constantly updated. We continue to have good thoughts and pray for a positive outcome. We're proud Lions and we stay strong. 🦁🙏😊

The Stanton Lions Club was proud and honored to receive a 2026 Non-Profit of Distinction Certificate from Senator Tony Strickland presented by Maddie Marks-Noble and a Certificate of Recognition from Tri Ta, California State Assembly presented at the 23rd Annual Stanton Car Show.

We had an awesome time at the 23rd Annual Stanton Car Show! Congrats to Best in Show Winner Gilbert for his 1960 Chevy Impala and taking home the custom Rod Sexton Trophy. Thank You to all the Sponsors, Vendors, Car Show Entrants, Young Marines, Lions Club Members and Volunteers who made this event possible to raise funds for the Boys & Girls Club of Stanton!

Last night 10 members from the Stanton Lions Club attended the Boys & Girls Club of Stanton Annual Holiday Party for the kids to help them pick out a toy as they left for their last day of the year. We also provided 8 gift bags with Smart & Final and Target Gift Cards for 8 well deserving families to make their holiday season much brighter. 🎅⛄😁🦁
