Moses' Journey Foster Closet We are a FREE clothing closet providing clothing and care items to children in foster care or family placement.

We are a 501c3 and provide clothing size preemie to kids 14-16. Children in care can shop every 3 months with us by appointment only.

Well that's a wrap!
We were able to help a total of 126 kids directly from our shop from five different counties!!!
We were also able to share with over a dozen other non profit organizations totaling over 300 trash bags full of clothing and care items and have at least another 100 bags that will be going out the door to more!
I can't thank you all enough for donating! You have made a difference for so many!
I also want to thank all of our volunteers that made this happen. Without them being available on sometimes really short notice, we couldn't have done what we have. I am truly touched. God truly is good!
Again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart! ❤️❤️❤️

What an amazing few weeks we have had! We have been able to help dozens of kiddos with clothing and care items. How great to see so many able to use what you all have donated! We are truly blessed to be able to serve so many! 🥰🥰🥰

We can pack for a couple more kids today if you message within the next 30 minutes. Must be able to pick up before 2pm today in Stanton.

As we get closer to closing our doors, hopefully before winter, we will no longer restocking the shelves for open shopping. It will be bag pick up only. No exceptions. We have to be able to keep the shop tidy for showings and this will be the easiest way. Sunday the 14th and Sunday the 21st we will be available from noon until 2 pm for pick up times. Items will be held by name. Again it must be reserved ahead of time. You must message this page or text 616-250-0451 ahead to reserve your bag. We will need clothing size, gender, and shoe size. We will fill bags with remaining stock but keep in mind some may be gone already. Bags will be a mix of summer and winter clothing. We currently have boys and girls 0-3 months up to 14/16. This is available for everyone, not just foster kiddos.

Edit: we would like to help those who haven't had a chance to shop yet in the last couple months. After that we will post for those who have to get more items if needed. Just trying to be fair for everyone. Thanks!

What an amazing week/weekend! Wow! Looks like we can still help some kiddos out this up coming Sunday the 24th. Appointments only open for everyone who hasn't had a chance to shop yet. Have availability for one more general public family to shop today asap for clothing. Does not need to be foster kiddos. You just have to be able to come right down. If you are in need of school clothes, this is for you!

Too many times now we either have no shows or people show up 20 to 30 minutes late. This is completely unacceptable. We are all volunteers. They are taking time away from their families to help you. They don't get paid. They spend their own money on gas to get here just to be stood up or show up when you feel like it. It takes 20 seconds to shoot us a text or message that you are running behind. From now on, no shows will not be rescheduled. If you can't be here within 15 minutes of your appointment time or message us right away, then that's on you.
It may seem like it's not that expensive to open up a building, turn lights and ac/heat on, and sit and wait but that comes out of MY pocket and it's happening more and more. I also drive an hour and a half to get here. Please have some consideration for others. Rant over.

What a great day today! We will be setting up shopping for general public again this Sunday from 11 am until 2pm. If you know a kiddo in need, please message the page as we will be by appointment only. We are able to help another 5 kiddos so please message soon to reserve a spot!

We know times are hard, and cost of living is expensive. We would like to share some clothing with the public. We have been blessed with an abundance of donations so if you or a loved one would like to come in, please message this page. We are in today until 1 pm. We carry 0-3 months up to 14-16. Please message size and we can have you come on down. We will also be setting up times for Sunday as well. NO WALK INS please. Appointment only so everyone gets a chance to shop. We can accommodate about 20 families total between now and Sunday and then we'll reevaluate.

As a reminder we are FULL on donations and not currently accepting more. Please never leave bags outside as it is exposed to the weather and we may not be there for several days. We hate to have to throw anything away that could be used by us or another nonprofit. As always, we share the love and send on anything we may not have a use for or an over abundance of. Thank you!
