The Stanton FFA Chapter was first chartered in 1937 and recently rechartered in September 2021.

Today our chapter officers traveled to Atlantic for Chapter Officer Leadership Training where they learned how to better lead, their officer roles, and start creating goals for the next school year!🌟

Due to the weather on Monday our banquet will be tomorrow, Thursday May 21st. Meal will start at 6:00 pm with the program at 7:00 pm in the high school gym.

Members please wear nice clothes, an FFA shirt, or official dress if you have it. We hope to see you there!!

What a fun and busy few days! 🌸🚜

🌸On May 8th, some of our members had a wonderful time helping first graders plant flowers just in time for Mother’s Day. It was great to see so many smiles and excitement while creating special gifts for moms and loved ones!

🚜We also enjoyed hosting Elementary Ag Day on Wednesday where we shared the importance of agriculture with our kindergarten through fifth grade students. These guys had hands-on activities and learning experiences with the chance of petting a horse, calf, and chick while also making grass monsters, learning about tractor safety, and learning more about FFA. A big thank you to Extension Isu Montgomery County and Red Oak AgriVision

🌟Reminder: The FFA Banquet will be held Monday, May 19th with the meal starting 6:00 pm and program at 7:00 pm. We look forward to celebrating another great year with our members, families, and supporters!

May 6th: 7:15- 8:00am
May 7th: 3:20-5:30pm
May 8th: 7:15- 8:00am and 3:20-5:30pm

We will be in the elementary concourse and all proceeds go to the chapter!

Day two of convention was just as great as day one!

🌟Poultry Judging team consisting of Jasmine, Grant, Olivia, and Elisabeth competed and earned a silver.

🌟 Matti and Tori severed as our delegates where they voted on our new state officers and help improve our organization.

🌟Addison competed in the Greenhand Knowledge Test where she placed third in the state!

It was a fun and busy State Convention and we can’t wait until next year’s!
