Today is Depression Screening and Awareness Day! Along with ADHD Awareness month, October is also Depression Awareness month. Here are some common signs and symptoms of depression.

October 1-7 is Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) Week. BPD affects approximately 1.4% of the U.S. population. In specialty mental health populations, that prevalence is 10-15%. People with BPD are at a higher rate of self-harm, su***de, and other psychiatric disorders than the average adult. BPD is three times more likely in women than men.

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day. Su***de was ranked as the second leading cause of death for young people between ages 10-34 in 2023. MCN is here to help fight the stigma and show support for our community.
