✨ Meet Rylee Romney!! ✨
Dance is my favorite hobby because it’s where I feel most like myself—honest, strong, and free. Recently, I’ve fallen in love with Ballroom Dance . It’s taught me patience, teamwork, and how trust between partners can turn hard work into something really beautiful.
When I’m not at the studio, I’m usually baking, spending time with my friends, or volunteering at local events where I can help people feel welcome. Those little things matter to me—they’ve shaped me into someone who keeps showing up, cares about others, and tries to bring positive energy wherever I go.
A quote that really sticks with me is, “Go out there and try your best because you have nothing to prove—only something to share.” My dance teacher told me that right before I went on stage for a competition, and it completely changed how I see things. It reminded me that it’s not about proving myself—it’s about sharing something meaningful and connecting with others.
Looking ahead, I plan to study education and become a high school teacher and dance coach. I want to combine my love of teaching with my passion for dance so I can support students both in the classroom and on the dance floor. More than anything, I want to create a space where kids feel safe to try, fail, and grow—and where they feel seen, supported, and encouraged to find their own strengths.
