For our second requirement rank adventure, Outdoors Skills, we went on a “Nyte walk” hike. We also leveled it up with Pokemon and completed various different tournaments to learn:
The Buddy System (Trainer and Pokemon)
The SAW (stay, answer, whistle) skill
The Leave No Trace Principles
The Outdooe Code
Pokemon first aid

We revisited the Cub Scout Six Essentials for our adventures!

More tournaments and adventures to come!
We are accepting all to join us K-5!

💙✨ Today, we celebrate girls who lead, explore, challenge themselves, and make their mark in Scouting.

On International Day of the Girl, we’re celebrating the girls in Scouting who are building confidence, discovering new adventures, and growing into the leaders of tomorrow. ⭐

Keep leading. Keep exploring. Keep being you. 💙

We are so proud of our Scouts! We stay active all year long! During the summer we adventure on!
We hike, bike, camp at two different Scout camps, fish, shooting sports (slingshot, archery and bb), swimming, camp cooking, knife safety, paddle sports safety (paddle board, kayaking, canoeing) and more! It really is lions, tigers and bears OH MY! Wolves, Webelos and AOLS too!
We have the most amazing den chiefs too!
We held our family get together awards/bobcat ceremony after our first den meeting earning our Bobcat for our respective levels.
As your Akela I was so very proud to award each and everyone! Well done!

We had chili, pulled pork, corn bread, cole slaw, mac and cheese cups, a fruit and veggie tray and make your own apple nachos for dessert!
