Mario Level Up To Bobcat!
Requirement meeting August 28
Recap: We definitely had a blast with this meeting, lots of laughs and learning the essentials of Cub Scouts! For the record it was complete chaos but as organized as it can be with Cubs!
Meeting agenda:
At the end of our 6 stations the scouts will get to race down rainbow road and cash in their coins for a hot wheels car of their choice. 🌈 🏎️
Each scout will be able to earn coins throughout the meeting and stations.
Most coins goes first and so forth.
Everybody who participates wins though!
Level 1-
Each kid will get a Mario fruit snack in the Yoshi eggs we’re hiding! Each kid gets to find one and then gets question to answer so we can get to know our pack!
Level 2-
Scout oath mushroom 🍄 hopscotch game-maybe with some extra obstacles during 😉
Level 3-
Scout law memory match game
Each scout gets a Mario character card!
Level 4-
Shy guy (Simon) says/red light, green light 🚦-but it’s really yellow ? Mario block lol
Each Scout will learn the Cub Scout motto, sign, handshake 🤝
Learn a Cub Song!-Cub Scout Sign Song-to the tune of little bunny foo foo.
Level 5-
“Do your best” obstacle course. Then build a brick bridge to build and knock down Peach’s castle 🏰
And
Rainbow road board game (denner position training)
-review good choices and bad choices as a pack with den leaders
Learn a Cub Scout song “Do your Best” to “are you sleeping lullaby”
Bonus activity-scouts help den leader find Luigi’s hat hidden* whichever “team/buddies” finds it and returns to a den leader earns a coin! Team up/buddy system!
Peaches picnic basket
Scouts help pick up pretend food items with basket; fastest den wins an extra coin! Teamwork!
***Clean up!***
Level 6-Boss Battle! Rainbow road to home!
Pinewood derby style race. First place gets a coin.
Most coins goes first to pick a hot wheels car to take home and so forth; everyone gets a hot wheels car.
Everyone who participates wins!
Take home commitment to complete Child Abuse Protection (safety) video as a family.
