The Becca Project

The Becca Project The goal of the Becca Project is to build a 40's-50's era, taildraggin', dark pink lead-sled that is rolling memorial to victims of breast cancer.

I've never done this before, but I had this idea and it sort of took off...Let's build a hot rod, taildragger in honor of those who've been lost to breast cancer! On October 6, 2003, this world lost one of the sweetest souls to have ever walked this Earth - Rebecca "Becky" Tanguay Aube. She was only 33 and the mother of 3 very young children. She was so funny and full of life that she would light

up any room she entered. Our family loves their cars and so I wanted to create one that was a memorial to the victims of breast cancer and dedicate it to her. We want it built and auctioned off. All donations collected will initially go into finding, building and painting the car and any costs associated with promotion of the project. Upon completion, the car will be auctioned and all proceeds, as well as any leftover build money (if any), will go to research for a cure and support of breast cancer survivors. UPDATE: 12/26/2014, We have incorporated as Custom Crusaders (www.facebook.com/CustomCrusaders) and registered as a DBA called "The Becca Project"
