Here are simple ways we can help ourselves and our neighbors:

🥕 Buy local when possible to support our farmers
🤝 Share extra food with neighbors and families in need
🏫 Teach our youth how to grow, cook, and preserve food
🏪 Support efforts to start a local indoor farmers market
⛪ Churches & groups can host food drives or community meals
🧑‍🌾 Farmers & gardeners can sell or donate locally

It’s that time again! The Senior Citizen Food Box Distribution happens every 3rd Thursday of the month — and today, February 19, 2026, is the day! 🙌
📍 Location: 240 Church Street Stamps, Arkansas 71860 (old Bill's Dollar Store)
🕒 Senior Citizen Time: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
🕒 Families - Time: 5 PM – 6PM
This program provides monthly food support to our seniors, helping ensure that every household has access to healthy, reliable groceries.

This month, during our food distribution, we proudly partnered with Vote SOAR in celebration of National Voter Registration Day—empowering our community not only with food, but with a voice at the ballot box. 🗳️🍎

We also received a wonderful gift from Entergy Arkansas—a $1,000 donation delivered by Quian Moore—to support our food pantry. 🙌💙 This generous contribution helps us continue fighting the food desert crisis here in Lafayette County.
