Construction on our new softball dugouts officially began today, and we are thrilled to have Monty Tech’s Construction Program on site putting their skills to work and bringing this project to life. We’re so grateful for this partnership and for the opportunity to see students gaining hands-on experience while making a lasting contribution to our school community.

We also want to extend a huge thank you to the Robinson-Broadhurst Foundation, whose generous funding is covering the concrete pads and materials needed for the project.

This is such a great example of community partnerships coming together to support our students and improve our facilities. We can’t wait to see the finished dugouts!

This week we sit down with Shaina Cunningham, Parks & Recreation Coordinator for the Town of Winchendon, along with Kenneth LaBrack and Glenn Hunt of the Robinson Broadhurst Foundation, to talk about the Robinson & Broadhurst Performing Arts Amphitheater at Winchendon Community Park. We get into what it takes to run a full season at the 200-acre park, the fall events still to come, from the Central Mass Irish Festival to the Winchendon H***y Tonk and a couple of Halloween nights, and the story of the Foundation whose support helped bring the amphitheater to life.

Last week our Board of Directors and Advisory Committee's visited some of our grantees during our annual fall site visits in Stamford and Worcester. This gives the Robinson Broadhurst Foundation, Inc. an opportunity to meet some of the volunteers within your organization. It also helps us to better understand what may be needed, or gives us an update of your project.

Thank you to the Stamford Volunteer Fire Department, C.O.R.E. Values Thrift Shop, Headwaters EMS, Stamford Baptist Church, Worcester Central School, St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church - Worcester, NY, Town of Worcester, New York Food Pantry, Worcester Hose Company NY, and the Maple Grove Cemetery.

We appreciate all your organizations do to help your community. We look forward to meeting with organizations in Winchendon in October.
