Congratulations to the Stamford Volunteer Fire Department on your new apparatus. May she serve you and the community well for many years to come!
After nearly 3 years of planning, meetings, pre-build, final inspection, and countless hours the Stamford Volunteer Fire Department put our new Rescue 2761 into service this afternoon.
Our Department sold the old rescue back in November 2025, and we have relied our our mutual aid neighboring agencies Jefferson Volunteer Fire Department, Grand Gorge Fire Department, Hobart Fire Department to assist covering our fire district with their rescue apparatus while we awaited delivery of ours. We thank each department for being there for us when needed. True Brotherhood!
Thank you to John & Jim Harris at Har-Rob Fire Apparatus for another beautiful truck we have added to our fleet.
Thank you to EVI Emergency Vehicles, Inc. for the 2nd Rescue we have put into service from their factory.
Thank you to the Robinson Broadhurst Foundation, Inc. for your support with this truck and our department.
Thank you to the Stamford Joint Fire District with ensuring that our Department always has well maintained apparatus and equipment to serve the community and the support of this new truck.
Thank you to our department members for working hard tonight getting all the tools and equipment on the new truck this evening and putting it into service.
Thank you to the Truck Committee for the thousands of hours of time that went into this truck. The Department has another great piece of apparatus that will serve our community for many years to come.
