Spark-a-Project Spotlight: Ballet with Averie!

Every other Wednesday, Averie introduces children at the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford to the fundamentals of ballet!

Through her Spark-a-Project, kids learn basic ballet movements, practice their new skills through interactive games, and explore the art of dance in a fun and engaging environment.

Thank you, Averie!

Meet one of our star volunteers, Manuela!

Manuela has been an incredible addition to our recent Show Up & Serve events. She consistently brings a positive attitude, jumps in wherever help is needed, and is always ready to help. She first started in 2016, became more involved in 2021 and 2026, and we are excited to have her back at all our tabling events.

Her willingness to serve, support others, and lead by example is what leadership is all about. Her favorite: Show up & Serve events, when we go out and connect with the community.

We’re proud to have Manuela as part of the Kids Helping Kids community and can’t wait to see the impact she continues to make!

Thank you, Manuela, for showing up, serving, and leading!

Spark-a-Project Spotlight: Building Blocks with Tobias!

Every Thursday, Tobias teaches kids from the Boys & Girls Club the fundamentals of Building Blocks, making every lesson fun, interactive, and engaging with math elements.

Through this, these kids are also learning patience, following directions, and understanding how each piece moves and how they work together to create their own creation.

Thank you, Tobias!
