The Skating Club of Southern Connecticut was established in 1941 with much the same philosophies and ideals fostered by its current Board of Directors - CELEBRATING 69 YEARS OF SKATING EXCELLENCE !! Our Club offers ice sessions for Freestyle, Moves in the Field, and Dance practices throughout the year, and runs frequent test sessions for every skating level. We also sponsor four USFS sanctioned co

mpetitions, including two basic skills competitions, our newly-founded and highly successful Terry Conners Synchro Open and The Southern Connecticut Open (formerly The Darien Open), now in its 27th year, all of which are open to skaters all along the eastern seaboard.
