School is ALMOST out, but hunger doesn't take a summer break.

Many children who rely on school meals face empty cupboards during the summer months.

We are teaming up with the Girl Scouts of Connecticut and The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County to collect kid-friendly, non-perishable food items to keep local kids fueled and happy all summer long!

When: May 26th – June 5th

Where: Drop off your donations in the Main Office donation bin(s).

Tonight was a STAR-studded evening at Stark School!

Our 4th and 5th grade students amazed families and staff with an incredible showcase of creativity and talent during the Spring Art Show and Spring Concert! From beautiful artwork displayed throughout the halls to outstanding musical performances by our 4th Grade Violins, 4th Grade Band, Swifties, 5th Grade Violins, and 5th Grade Rockestra, the night was truly unforgettable.

We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and confidence our students showed on stage and through their art. A huge thank you to our teachers, staff, families, and especially Mrs. Damici and Mr. Leftwich for helping make this special evening such a success!

TGIF and talk about ending the week on a high note 🙌✨

We wrapped up our 90s-themed Staff Appreciation Week the ultimate throwback way — with a classic pizza party! 🍕 Because let’s be real… if you grew up in the 90s, you KNOW a pizza party was the reward of all rewards.

Our amazing staff enjoyed a delicious lunch from before heading to the media center to kick back, relax, and dive into all the nostalgic feels — pizza in hand, iconic 90s sitcoms on the screen, and not a worry in sight. 📺💿

From retro vibes to nonstop laughs, it was the perfect ending to a week full of appreciation, fun, and total 90s magic. 💥

90s vibes were all that today and our staff understood the assignment 🙌📼✨

From denim on denim to scrunchies and throwback fits, the looks were giving straight-up iconic 90s energy and we are HERE for it. They showed up, showed out, and absolutely did not disappoint!

Staff struck a pose at our JCPenney Photo Booth 📸 (because if you didn’t take an awkwardly perfect 90s photo… did it even happen?!), and got totally crafty at the Beadable Pen Bar—designing pens that were as bold and colorful as the decade itself.

Let’s just say… the nostalgia was strong, the vibes were immaculate, and today was da bomb 💥

A promise is a promise 🍦

After crushing it as a top earner in our Bookopoly fundraiser, second grader Zoe earned the ultimate prize… turning Dr. Armstrong into a human ice cream sundae!

Sprinkles were flying, laughter was nonstop, and let’s just say—Zoe was definitely the most popular kid in school that day 😄

And can we just take a moment for Dr. Armstrong? Not every principal would jump headfirst (literally!) into something this fun. It’s moments like these that make our school community so special 💙

Throwin’ it back to the 90s and keeping the appreciation going strong! 🌸✨

Today, our amazing teachers got to tap into their creative side at our “Blossom” Bar, building their own custom bouquets—because they deserve their flowers in every way. 💐 A huge thank you to for their incredible generosity and support in sponsoring today’s event.

The fun didn’t stop there… 👀 Teachers also took a trip down memory lane with a 90s-style game of Guess Who?—featuring baby photos of their fellow staff members. Let’s just say… there were some hilarious guesses and big surprises!

So much joy, laughter, and well-deserved appreciation all around. More 90s fun to come!

Livin’ La Vida Low-Stress!

Today, the Stark staff got the VIP treatment—enjoying relaxing chair massages and snacking like it was 1999 while creating their own DIY Lunchables-style treats.

As if! Teacher Appreciation Week is officially underway at Stark School. This year, we’re throwing it back with a totally rad 90s theme, and today we kicked things off with a “Friends” inspired breakfast for our incredible staff. Teachers enjoyed a delicious spread featuring breakfast sandwiches, bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, coffee, and juice.

We’ve planned a lineup filled with nostalgia, fun, and a whole lot of retro flair so be sure to check back each day to see what the staff has been up to. It’s going to be all that and a bag of chips!
