It’s donation day at our Harry Bennett branch on Saturday, May 16! Bring your gently used books, CDs, DVDs and Vinyls to the auditorium between 11am and 3pm and we’ll find good homes for them. Please limit your donation to two bags or boxes only. See you soon!

The Harry Bennett Branch is located at 115 Vine Road in Stamford and there is free parking.

It’s Independent Bookstore Day and we’re celebrating by giving you 10% OFF EVERYTHING on Saturday, April 25! Did you know that the Friends Book Shop is the only independent bookstore in Stamford?

Stop by one (or both!) of our book shop locations at the Ferguson Library & the Harry Bennett Branch on Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. to help us celebrate Independent Bookstore Day & support the library.

As a thank you for your support everything in both shops will be 10% off. It’s a great time to get started on your Mother’s Day gift shopping or treat yourself to a new book or two or three😁. We hope to see you soon!
