Stamford Baseball Association

Today closed out the 2026 Quad County season and Stamford was well represented in the tournament all week in the 8U, 10U and 12U Divisions.

In 8U Stamford Jimenez stayed in the winners bracket all week and closed out Anson today for the 8U Championship!

In 10U Stamford Hernandez stayed in the winners bracket all week as well and came home as the 10U Champions!

In 12U Stamford Corzine took a loss in the opening game on Monday but battled their way back all week to play in the Championship, finally falling to an undefeated Eula 3-0.

It was a great year for Stamford Baseball! Thank you to all of the players, coaches, parents and the fans that support these kids. Thank you to our sponsors, without them we would not be able to have a season. I know everyone is already looking forward to the 2027 season.

You might notice that we have a new scoreboard this year! Thanks to a generous donation from Decker Capital Partners and a grant we received from the Texas Rangers Foundation we were able to have this scoreboard installed in December. The old scoreboard served us well for a number of years but with updated lighting you will be able to see this scoreboard better during our daytime games. Thanks again to Decker Capital Partners and Go Rangers!

In other exciting news, after fundraising efforts from board members and the tremendous generosity of donors we have secured funds to to tear out and replace all of the fencing around the ballpark after the conclusion of the 2026 season. The current fencing dates back to the 1970’s. By updating the fencing we hope to provide a safe ballpark for the next 50 plus years. Great things are happening with Stamford Baseball!
