In February of 2021 Alexis was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma. She was 27 years old and 23 weeks pregnant with her second child at the time of diagnosis. She underwent intense treatment while pregnant and delivered a healthy baby boy in May. Just a few weeks later tests showed Alexis was in remission & she went on to continue treatment. She completed chemo in September of 2021.
Despite all of the harsh treatment, Alexis endured she was blessed with two more babies making her a mom of four ππΌππππ
At Christmas time, Alexis received the devastating news that her cancer has returned.
The protocol for relapsed lymphoma is much different and involves a very lengthy hospital stay as Alexis will be undergoing an auto stem cell transplant as part of her treatment plan.
Alexis will be in the hospital for a minimum of three weeks. Her husband was approved for FMLA, but will only receive two weeks of pay. He is the sole provider for his family of SIX. Alexis is typically the sole caregiver to their four babies during the week while her husband is working.
We NEED your helpβΌοΈWe NEED to raise at least two weeks of pay, so Tim could be home to care for their children and Alexis when she is released from care. We would LOVE to raise three weeks.
