CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR GSCCA PRESIDENT’S CUP CHAMPION! 🏆

Congratulations to Reuben Stafford on taking home 1st Place Heavy Stringer at our GSCCA President’s Cup Fishing Tournament!

We had 30 competitors and over 50 video submissions featuring tournament fish that were caught, weighed, and successfully released to be caught another day. What a great turnout and an awesome way to support conservation and our local fishing community!

I want to personally thank each and every person who came out and competed on Saturday. Your participation and support help us continue raising funds to host CCA Greater Sugar Land Chapter Kid Fish tournaments and introduce the next generation to the outdoors and the sport of fishing.

A special thank-you to John and Lynda Breland, Crystal and Bubba Zapalac, Bob and Sandra Hrachovy and Spence Mitchell for hosting the captains’ meeting and providing setup, support, and hospitality throughout the weekend. We truly appreciate everything y’all did to help make this event a success!

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported our efforts. It takes a great team to make events like this happen, and we couldn’t do it without you!

This tournament helps raise funds for CCA Greater Sugar Land Chapter Kid Fish events held throughout the year, giving kids the opportunity to experience the outdoors and learn about fishing and conservation.

KID FISH AT RIVERSTONE!

A huge THANK YOU to the Riverstone community for having us out for another successful Kid Fish! We had a great time getting the kids outdoors, enjoying the beautiful weather, and making some fun fishing memories.

We also want to give a big thank you to all of our CCA board members, volunteers, and the Boy Scouts who showed up and helped make the event happen. We truly appreciate everyone who gave their time to help make the day special for these kids!

Lastly, a special shoutout to Crystal Zapalac, our Kid Fish Director, for all of her hard work making sure everything was ready to go and running smoothly! 👏

We’re already looking forward to the next one!

The Annual Banquet is right around the corner on Thursday April 9th at the Stafford Center located at 10505 Cash Road in Stafford. Doors open at 6pm where you will smell the aroma of boiled crawfish, fried catfish and enjoy an open bar.

If you purchased tickets your tickets have been emailed to you whether you acquired an individual ticket or purchased a table. Be on the lookout for an email from Ticketstripe our ticket provider. When you look at the email it will instruct you to look into your wallet section where you have the option to claim a ticket or forward it to one of your guests.

Please notify your guest to be on the lookout for their ticket if you emailed them.

Have your tickets ready and accessible to be scanned at the door.
