Today, the Marine Corps Reserve Association proudly celebrates Women Veterans Day and honors the generations of women who have answered our Nationโ€™s call to serve.

From the battlefields of the past to the missions of today, women have strengthened our Corps, our military, and our communities through their courage, leadership, and unwavering commitment to service.

To all women veterans: thank you for your sacrifice, your dedication, and the example you continue to set for future generations.

We invite our members, friends, and supporters to join us in recognizing the incredible women who have worn the uniform. Share a photo, tag a woman veteran who inspires you, or tell us about a woman Marine whose service made a difference in your life.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ’ช The Marine Corps Reserve Association (MCRA) was proud to be in action today at National Pack Day in Nashville!

Our MCRA President joined more than 200 volunteers working together to pack an incredible 250,000 meals for those in need. This event was a powerful reminder that service doesn't end when the uniform comes offโ€”it simply takes on new forms.

From supporting our communities to continuing a legacy of service, this is what MCRA is all about.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and energy to make a difference. Together, we can accomplish amazing things!

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Military Families Could See Significant Benefits Under Proposed Defense Bill ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

The House Armed Services Committee has advanced the Fiscal Year 2027 defense authorization bill, which includes some major quality-of-life improvements for our military community. Among the proposals are targeted military pay raises ranging from 5% to 7%, with junior enlisted service members receiving the largest increases.

The bill also includes changes aimed at strengthening housing allowances and supporting military families facing rising living costs.

While the legislation must still move through the Senate and be signed into law before becoming official, it represents a continued recognition of the sacrifices made by our service members and their families.

The Marine Corps Reserve Association will continue to monitor developments and advocate for policies that strengthen the readiness, well-being, and financial stability of our Guard, Reserve, active-duty, veteran, and military family communities.

๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ More than a game. More than a jersey.

This Memorial Day weekend, every player on the Marines Ice Hockey team took the ice wearing the name of someone who has passed โ€” honoring fallen heroes, loved ones, brothers, sisters, family members, and friends whose memories continue to live on.

Each name on the back of those jerseys represented a story, a sacrifice, and a life that will never be forgotten. It was a powerful reminder that Memorial Day is not just about remembrance, but about carrying their legacy forward in everything we do.

Thank you to the Marines Ice Hockey team for honoring the fallen both on and off the ice. โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ One of our very own had the honor and privilege of attending the Memorial Day Ceremony at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, where Joe Staudt served as the Keynote Speaker.

Memorial Day is a time to pause, reflect, and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. The ceremony was a powerful reminder of the cost of freedom and the importance of never forgetting those who gave everything for our country.

Thank you to Joe Staudt for his meaningful words and to everyone who helped make the ceremony so special as we honored our fallen heroes. โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™
