Yesterday, several club members came together to transplant 2,000 (!!) plugs into larger planters. They’ll continue growing in the greenhouse at Foster Hill Farm until the risk of frost has passed and they’re strong enough to be planted in hanging baskets and gardens across town in late May ☀️

As we plan and prepare for the 2026 growing season, let’s take a look back at what your support made possible in 2025!

In 2025, the Stafford Garden Club…

• Cared for gardens in over 20 town-owned properties across town, watering daily (sometimes twice!) during peak summer months
• Planted 1,000 new spring-blooming bulbs
• Organized the annual Scarecrow Contest for the 11th year
• Decorated Main Street and town gardens for the holidays

Our North Pole partnership is back! Kids can send their letters to Santa by placing them in the big red mailbox on Main Street near the police station. Be sure to add a first and last name and a return address so Santa can write back. No stamp required ✨🎅

Always magical turning the lights on for the first night ✨

Cold, blustery, and occasionally snowy… We still showed up bright and early today to help Main Street shine for the holidays!

We filled planters with greens, birch, and hung lanterns along Main Street and the Spring Street bridge, added garland and decorations outside the Town Hall, wrapped light poles with garland and ribbons in Hyde Park and Haymarket Common, and also set up the sleigh and reindeer in Haymarket. Thanks to our donors who make it possible for us to be creative and do a little more each year! 🛷
