check out the number of state legislators just across the border in Mass. co-sponsoring legislation there for comprehensive health insurance coverage for Lyme-- why not here in NYS?…THAT'S WHY WE CREATED THIS FACEBOOK PAGE-- PLS SHARE YOUR STORIES FOLKS!

May is Lyme Disease Awareness month…most certainly one of our goals here in the Hudson Valley is to get a screening of the updated "Under Our Skin" film/documentary on Lyme/tick disease organized in every single municipality in Dutchess and Putnam counties, beyond-- to press Sen. Serino to co-sponsor S. 653!

here's the ironic thing-- almost six years ago I got 8 of 11 GOP Dutchess county legislators-- and all 13 Dem Co. Leg.'s (and Conservative Co. Leg. Jim Doxsey)-- to vote for my resolution to send strong message to Albany-- make sure health insurance fully covers treatment for Lyme!…(six years later: no action yet)

Serino (unlike Terry Gipson before her) refuses to promote legislation to make sure health insurance fully covers Lyme-- thx also to local Assemblymembers Didi Barrett, Kevin Cahill, and Frank Skartados for co-sponsoring A.1277-- call Serino, Cuomo all state legislators on this-- at 877-255-9417!

what's the focus of this new page?…building support for legislation to pass in Assembly and Senate for New Yorkers to have same thing Rhode Island and Connecticut residents have both long had-- health insurance that covers treatment for Lyme disease beyond just several weeks!
