We got Fallen's test results back today!!
She has EPI!!! Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.
Im honestly just glad there's an answer and its treatable! ❤️

EPI is the inability to produce sufficient pancreatic enzymes needed to digest fats, carbohydrates, and proteins, leading to severe weight loss and malnutrition. I have been walking a skeleton 3 times a day.... Add coccidia and giardia on to that and the stress of being in a kennel environment - no wonder she hasnt been eating well.

I cant wait to see her get better now that we have answers. Huge thanks to those who helped donate for her GI panel!! Now we get to make this girl healthy again!!!

Our little fried pastry man mister Churro is off to his new home!!!!

Im sooo happy for this little guy!!! He hit the jackpot with the perfect family! 🥹 He ran right up to them and jumped right in their arms 🥰 They were missing their Shih Tzu who sadly passed away last year after only having him for a year 🥺 Just devastating... Churro has such an important role to fulfill in their hearts now 🫶 We know he'll love it and never look back. Trust me, he doesnt even miss us 🤣 He'll have soo much more space to run around now, and a few other dog friends to play with :) no more kennel life. Thank you soo much to his new family for driving all the way out here and choosing adoption!

Nothing like waking the whole house up at 6am to use the shop vac yall bought us because my house likes to flood from the rain at the most inconvenient times 😭 Every day I wish I could give the previous owner a huge middle finger for blatantly lying about this place having never flooded. First we lost Dolly Parton, then my glasses broke on me tonight, and now this.
I think Rodney's over all the bad news, too. Ugh. We're going back to sleep. Wake us up when it's finally the weekend 😪
