Mary's College was formed within Student Activities as the College's response to overwhelming student interest in volunteerism, service, and social and environmental activism. Education and Youth Development

-From river clean-ups to letter-writing campaigns, there are thousands of ways to speak out for the planet on a local and national level. Human and Health Services
-Visit a local nursing home, volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital, organize fundraisers, help train Special Olympics athletes, or help coordinate events like the Point Lookout Ghost Walk. Poverty and Economic Justice
-Increase campus awareness of poverty-related issues while lending a hand to combat the effects of economic and social inequalities. Volunteers for these projects collaborate to organize events for Hunger & Homlessness Awareness Week. Equality and Social Justice
-These activist clubs devote energy to raising awareness about cultural, political, racial, gender, religious, and sexual inequalities.
