Animal Advocates of St. Mary's College of Maryland This club was founded in the fall of 2015 by Rylinn Sorini, Chloe Carr, and Dani Quill. The club's objective is to promote humane treatment of animals.

The whalers killed 103 males and 230 females - 90.2 percent of whom were pregnant.

A tiger shark's lucky rescue from a net has been captured on camera by a kayaker off South Africa's eastern coast. The animal had been attracted by a decomposing whale carcass when it became entangled in a shark net.
