Every dollar raised at the Hope Rising Black & White Gala on June 13 supports our work for children and families.

ECH's behavioral health programs provide residential treatment, outpatient psychiatric care, and community-based mental health services to children across Missouri. For many of the kids we serve, these programs are the first time anyone has taken their mental health seriously.

From our most recent impact report: ECH's foster care team helped 189 children find their forever homes. 73% of children who left our Residential Treatment program moved to a less restrictive setting. 11 youth in Steppingstone earned their high school diplomas. 475 children had their holiday wishes granted.

Behind every one of those numbers is a child who needed someone to show up for them. The Hope Rising Black & White Gala on June 13 helps make sure we can keep doing it.

Foster care is rarely a straight line. Children move through a system that can feel overwhelming, and families need consistent, knowledgeable support at every stage. ECH's foster care team works alongside children and families toward a safe and loving permanent home.

In 2024, ECH directed 82 cents of every dollar toward direct program services. The resources entrusted to us reach the children and families who need them most.

Our team provides foster care case management and family connection services with one goal in mind: finding the safest, most caring situation for every child.
