Meet Rowdy. He may be 15 years old, but don't tell him that. This tiny Chihuahua still has plenty of opinions, plenty of s***k, and absolutely no interest in being ignored.
After coming from a neglect situation, Rowdy is slowly learning that life can be soft, safe, and full of love. Every day he grows a little more confident and a little more trusting. ❤️🩹
Like any self-respecting Chihuahua, Rowdy believes he belongs in your arms at all times. He loves being held, loves being close to his people, and if he feels the attention level has dropped below acceptable standards, he'll be sure to let you know. Why suffer in silence when you can simply demand more cuddles? 🤷🏻♀️
Rowdy does have some weakness in his back legs, likely from years of neglect, but he has already made amazing progress. Despite his rough start, his vet gave him a great health report card, and he's ready to spend his golden years being loved the way he always deserved.
His ideal home would be a calm, quiet household with someone who is home most of the time. He gets along with other dogs, but because he's so fragile, any canine roommates will need to respect his space and understand that the little king deserves gentle treatment.👑
If you believe senior dogs deserve the very best chapters of their lives, Rowdy is waiting to meet you.
Rowdy won’t have an adoption fee but we will ask for any donation an adopter can make to the organization to help us continue to do everything we can for all the dogs who come to us deserving more then they’ve ever had.
Cheers to Rowdy!!!!!!!!!! 🩷
