So many families opening their homes.
So many friends from different backgrounds and faith traditions gathering around the same table.

Our Family Iftar Dinners are going beautifully so far. What makes them even more special is the spirit of interfaith friendship, understanding, and genuine connection we are building together.

We feel truly blessed to see hearts meeting beyond differences, sharing stories, laughter, and compassion.

First Weekend of Ramadan 🤍

Saturday, we came together for a beautiful interfaith iftar with
TASOM 🤝 PUCC 🤝 Congregation Shaare Emeth
and we were joined by many friends from other communities too.
Different faiths, different stories, one table.

We shared our immigration journeys, laughed, listened,
and felt truly seen.
Turkish music filled the room with joy and belonging.
It wasn’t just an iftar, it felt like family.

Sunday, the TASOM community joyfully sponsored and served meals with
St. Francis’ Episcopal Church.
We showed up to serve
and left with full hearts and big smiles.

This weekend reminded us how beautiful it is
when hearts open wide, cultures meet,
and joy grows through service and connection.

🌙 A Taste of Turkey - Cooking Class at TASOM! 🍽️

This weekend, TASOM organized a special Ramadan Cooking Class, where guests had the opportunity to learn about Ramadan and the meaning of iftar.

During the event, participants actively took part in preparing traditional dishes, following step-by-step guidance. The atmosphere was filled with curiosity, engagement, and a shared appreciation for cultural traditions.

As the evening continued, we gathered for iftar, beginning with a prayer and enjoying a meal together. It was a wonderful experience of learning, connection, and community spirit.

✨ Grateful for a Beautiful Evening of Faith & Fasting! ✨

Yesterday, TASOM Youth Club hosted Faith Formation Through Fasting: An Intergenerational Journey in collaboration with the Interfaith Partnership of Greater St. Louis( ), bringing together diverse faiths to reflect on fasting’s spiritual impact. The discussion was filled with wisdom, personal stories, and fresh perspectives.

We ended with a warm Iftar Dinner at Hope Episcopal Church, sharing a meal in unity and understanding.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and to Hope Episcopal Church for hosting. Let’s keep building bridges of faith and community!

🌟 A Night of Unity, Reflection, and Fellowship 🌟

Last night, we gathered as a community to celebrate our shared values and embrace the beauty of interfaith unity at the Intertwine Interfaith Community Iftar Dinner. It was an evening filled with heartfelt conversations, delicious food, and a deep sense of togetherness as we honored Lent/Easter, Passover, and Ramadan side by side.

🙏 A special thanks to our gracious hosts, Congregation Shaare Emeth , for welcoming us with open arms and providing a warm and inclusive space for this meaningful gathering. We are also incredibly grateful to Parkway United Church of Christ and all our wonderful guests who joined us in this celebration of faith, friendship, and peace.

✨ Moments like these remind us that no matter our faith, we are stronger together. Thank you to everyone who contributed, attended, and supported this event. Let’s continue to build bridges of understanding and love in our community!

TASOM proudly hosted an event honoring the life and legacy of M. Fethullah Gülen (1938–2024), a visionary devoted to education, peace, compassion, and dialogue.

The evening featured:
🎶 A heartfelt music performance by Ahmet Ates.
📖 A moving poem recitation by Şirin Budak & Renée Reed-Miller.
🎤 An inspiring keynote address by Dr. Jon Pahl, author of Fethullah Gülen: A Life of Hizmet.

It was a night filled with reflection, unity, and gratitude as we came together to celebrate a life dedicated to serving humanity. Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to this meaningful gathering.
