Today, following our liquor license hearing, our application was denied after objections were raised by a small group of neighboring residents regarding our business operations.

While we are disappointed by the decision, we want everyone to know that Everybody Eats Café & Restaurant is NOT closing.

Our mission has always been bigger than alcohol. We built this restaurant on great food, outstanding service, community, culture, and creating a welcoming space where everybody truly eats.

And trust us—our food stands on its own.

❤️ FAMILY. LEGACY. LOVE. ❤️

This past Saturday, we had the absolute honor of welcoming The Fields Family from Mississippi to Everybody Eats Café & Restaurant while they were in St. Louis celebrating a family wedding.

More than 30 family members gathered around our tables, sharing laughs, stories, memories, and love. It was truly something special to witness.

What touched us most was watching the proud patriarch of the family—a devoted father and grandfather—beam with joy as he looked around the room, surrounded by generations of his beautiful family. From sons and daughters to grandchildren, in-laws, and loved ones who have become family through love, the room was filled with unity, respect, and connection.

As restaurant owners, we serve food every day, but moments like these remind us that we’re really serving memories. Watching the strength, pride, and generational wealth represented in this family was inspiring and a beautiful reminder of what truly matters.

Thank you, Fields Family, for choosing Everybody Eats to be part of your St. Louis experience. Your kindness, support, and presence meant more than you know.
