St. Louis is facing significant changes in public education:

📉 30,879 fewer children under 15 since 2020
📉 80,000 fewer K-12 students projected over 20 years
🏫 1,000+ public schools closed nationally in 2025–26
📊 Nearly 4M projected enrollment decline nationwide (2019–2031)

**District enrollment changes:**
• Normandy: -22.6%
• SLPS: -20.5%
• Ferguson-Florissant: -18.6%
• Jennings: -13.7%

These numbers highlight the importance of understanding our communities and investing in the future of our children.
