GUD GRIEF FEST IS BRINGING A DAY OF HEALING, CONNECTION AND FUN TO MOLINE ACRES

Project Circles of Support is inviting youth ages 14 to 19 to Gud Grief Fest, a community centered event designed to give young people a safe space to connect, express themselves, build confidence and simply enjoy being around their peers.

The event takes place Sunday, September 27, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Duke Lanier Park, 9747 Duke & 9730 Lanier in Moline Acres.

Youth will be able to move through 10 interactive stations featuring real talk conversations, a vision board studio, creative expression and DJ workshop, a burn and release ceremony, fitness and wellness activities, a self care bar, chalk walk, resource village, game zone and Circle of Hope.

Participants who visit every station and collect a stamp will also have a chance to win a $150 Visa gift card.

The message behind the event is simple: Come as you are. Leave stronger.
