A judge has ruled in favor of the City of St. Louis in a long-standing budget dispute with the Board of Police Commissioners, rejecting the board’s bid to secure an additional $67.5 million for police funding.

Cuts to SNAP and Medicaid aren’t just policy decisions. They’re real challenges for families in our community. In Missouri, an estimated 210,000 residents could lose Medicaid and 150,000 could lose SNAP, putting health and economic stability at risk across the region.

The Clark-Fox Policy Institute and Center for Social Development are co-hosting a free, hybrid event to unpack what these changes mean for local communities and explore alternative programs. We’re honored that Operation Food Search President & CEO Kristen Wild will be part of this important discussion.

We're seeking sponsors to help provide food and beverages for approximately 25 volunteers per shift.

Suggested items: donuts, pastries, coffee, juice, and bottled water.

🥪 Lunch Sponsor (12:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
Suggested items: deli sandwiches, chips, water, soft drinks, sports drinks, trail mix, and fresh fruit.

🥤 Evening Snack Sponsor (5:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
Suggested items: snacks, chips, bottled water, soft drinks, and light refreshments.
