Kohen Wiley, a toddler. Almost 2 years old. Life ended from police shooting into a car, in a public parking lot, over a shop lifting call at Walmart in Senatobis, Mississippi.

SHOPLIFTING. The amount of people making the excuse of a misdemeanor in regards to survival, being a reason to end the lives of Black people is not surprising. White people in this country have deep deep white supremacists and racist mentalities STILL.

A baby boy was shot over SHOPLIFTING. And from what’s being stated is that the items in question were pampers and other essential items. This was poverty. Instead of help for this family. The police showed up ready to kill. Yes, they tried to flee the scene. Yes the police could have let them leave the lot. Instead they tried to stand in front of the car and shot into the car. Killing a baby and putting another in ICU. The same narrative was used when ICE officers shot and killed

So how the country showed up for her, if you don’t show up for Kohen Wiley if not at-least with the same level of outrage, should be more since this was a baby, then it also shows the lack of value the “movement” has for black life not just the system.

Prayers for the family. This is hard. This is evil. This is wrong.

Karmelo Anthony, Cyrus Carmack-Belton.

Cyrus, murdered in cold blood. Accused of stealing water bottles. Proven to be false, but if he took water was that worth chasing him down and killing him? That’s how little this country values the lives of black people.

Karmelo, threatened and attacked. Defended himself. Charged with murder. All white jury. Found guilty of murder. Sentenced to 35 years in prison.

Two young lives taken by white supremacy. Have you had enough yet?

There’s no time to be political with our word choice. There’s no capacity for grace here. This is cowardice, this is immoral. How much did they buy you for ?

Sellout would be too kind.

When children are being slaughtered, families erased, and an apartheid machine is being politically protected, neutrality is immoral and collaboration is worse.

If you told freedom you’d stand with it, then slipped behind closed doors to side with AIPAC and boost Wesley, that says everything.

Some people enter politics to fight power.
Some enter it to be accepted by it.

Since May, we’ve helped house 26 families after the storm.

Right now, 2 families remain.

We’re close. One more family needs to be covered for the month.

We’re raising $1,000 to keep them in extended stay and off the streets.

This isn’t a nonprofit campaign. This is real people making sure families don’t fall through the cracks.
