This week, young men were called to assist and elderly neighbor with moving from her current home that was dramaged by the tornado, to her new residence.

We are grateful for young men that helped meet a need and with no questions asked.

The 94th Annual Delegate Assembly is on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., to be held at the Phyllis Wheatley Heritage Center, 2711 Locust Street, St. Louis, MO 63103.

This annual gathering serves as an important opportunity to swear in new officers, review organizational accomplishments, discuss key issues and initiatives, and engage in meaningful dialogue with fellow delegates and members.

Limited seating. Get your ticket while they last. The cost to attend is $10.

We appreciate the support from all communoty members, then and now, for helping us in ways to improve the quality of life of our neighbors.

The Federation of Block Units Office and community partners are inviting you to participate in our West Side Anti-Violence March and Community Resource Fair on Saturday, June 27, from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Like many neighborhoods we represent, Wells-Goodfellow and Hamilton Heights has long struggled with high levels of violent and property crime compared with city averages. We are marching to publicly oppose violence and promote safer, more peaceful communities in the Wells-Goodfellow and Hamilton Heights neighborhoods.

Following the march, our Community Resource Fair will connect residents and families with helpful services, programs, and opportunities designed to improve safety, stability, and quality of life throughout the community.

Our President DeAngelo Ball, Treasurer Shenesia Taylor, Board Member Anita Hayes and Director Farrakhan Shegog, and community partners, together, responded to the water crisis at Council Towers Senior Building with water dispursements and fellowship with residents.

We are strongly encouraging the property managers and owners of the property to expedite the return to water services to residents. Thank you Alderwoman Keys and the Mayors Office for helping coordinate such needed water resources.

Block Unit 1818C (Council Towers Senior Building) has been without water for 5 days and we were asked if we can help deliver waters to units with the City of St. Louis (Alderwoman Laura Keys).

Special shout out to our Director Farrakhan Shegog, President DeAngelo Ball, County Representative Tracy Hill, Board Secretary Shencika Fondren and Board Treasurer Shenesia Taylor for helping lead the Food Delivery Service during ULSTL Weekend of Service.

Over 400 boxes of food delivered within 2.5 hours across the metro area. To seniors, disabled persons and veterans. Some of which are still displaced by the May 16th Tornado.
