Seeking Disciplined Talent for the BAKC Handler Apprenticeship
The Black American Kennel Club (BAKC) is looking for a select group of dedicated, high-energy individuals to join our professional apprenticeship team. We are preparing for our upcoming halftime showcase at Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee, and we are searching for the next generation of expert canine handlers to showcase the BAKCās standard of excellence.
Two Paths to Mastery:
Professional Apprentice Track: Ages 18ā25.
Junior Apprentice Track: Ages 13ā17 (Parental/Guardian consent required).
This is an elite mentorship opportunity for those with a genuine passion for dogs. All apprenticeship training is conducted exclusively through Canāt Get Right K9 Training, ensuring that every member of our performance team is grounded in the "Ivy League" of dog training standards.
The Performance Experience:
You won't just be learning the theory; you will be living it on the collegiate stage. As a member of the BAKC performance team, you will work directly with our highly trained dogs in a high-energy environment. Under the expert guidance of Can't get right K9 Training, you will master agility, guiding dogs through tunnels and over hurdles, and become a critical part of the showās mechanicsāholding the props and hoops that serve as the focal point for our elite canine athletes to jump through. You will be the foundation of the performance, ensuring our dogs deliver a master-level showcase.
