We were grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the State Secretariat for the Aid of Persecuted Christians and the Consulate General of Hungary in Chicago to host Márk Érszegi, who presented “Faithful Until Death: Remembering the Dedication of Venerable Cardinal Mindszenty, 50 Years On” on September 30th. Thank you to all who were able to attend.

The Hungarian Cardinal Mindszenty, died 50 years ago, after a life of long and fearless resistance to communist tyranny that inspired the whole world. To commemorate this great man, the Hungarian government is sponsoring a four-city speaking tour in the Midwestern United States, featuring a distinguished Hungarian expert on Mindszenty’s life. The cities are Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit and St. Louis.

The Cardinal Mindszenty Foundation is glad to invite you to this inspiring talk on Cardinal Mindszenty hosted at our headquarters in Clayton, MO on September 30th. Doors for the 7:00 p.m. event will open at 6:30. Hungarian pastries, water and coffee will be provided. Free parking is available at the building, in a surface lot immediately behind 7800 Bonhomme (accessible from the alley) as well as free parking on the street after 5 PM. Please enter the building through the door that faces the parking lot. The talk will be given in a second-floor room; with regret that the building has no elevator. Space is limited, so it is asked that you RSVP as directed on the flyer. Questions about the event may be directed to the same email address and phone number as for the RSVPs.
