At Mitrata-Nepal Foundation for Children (MNFC), it's our mission to educate and empower severely underprivileged children to reach their full potential as citizens of Nepal. We strive to maximally impact the lives of these children who in turn contribute to their community. We provide individualized education, housing, healthcare, early childhood development and support services such as nutrition

/hygiene, counseling, empowerment programs, scholarships and career development alongside our partner organization in Nepal. "A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child."

In the year 1965, a group of men set out to play badminton but could only find ping pong paddles and a wiffle ball, leading to the creation of the sport known as pickleball. Today, with over 22 million players worldwide, it’s the perfect time to jump into the exciting world of pickleball.

Come and be part of the 1st Annual Pickleball Tournament, Pic-N-Pickle, hosted by Mitrata Nepal Foundation for Children this August! Whether you bring a friend, your family, or even just yourself, get ready for a great day of fun.

We have multiple levels of play available—recreational, intermediate, and youth—along with a learn-to-play session for those curious about the game. Enjoy a picnic lunch on us, and feel free to bring along your friends to watch, as entry is free for spectators!

Both players and spectators can register now, so don’t delay—sign up today before slots fill up! We’re also in search of sponsors for the event and courts, and any contributions are greatly appreciated. Looking forward to seeing you on the court!

We are gearing up for another fundraising event to support Mitrata Nepal Foundation for Children!

Started during Covid, Miles for Mitrata Kids (M4MK) was created to help support the mission of Mitrata in a safe, virtual setting while encouraging participants to stay healthy and active during uncertain times.

Now in its 5th and final year, we aim to raise $36,000 to ensure 38 students can join a rare educational trip, giving the students a learning experience that will expand their horizons and boost their confidence.

This year's event will run June 1st- December 31st so sign up, choose your activity, lace up your shoes, and get outside to raise money for a good cause.
