If you love spending time in Missouri's outdoor spaces as much as we do, please join us in voting YES on Amendment 1 TOMORROW! This isn't a new tax, but a simple 10-year renewal of the Parks, Soils, and Water Sales Tax that keeps all 93 of our state parks free to explore and safeguards clean water and rich farmlands across the state. It affects all of us by protecting the natural spots we cherish and keeping our local ecosystems healthy. You can check out all the details on Preserve Missouri or read up on Why Yes on 1 to see how vital this renewal is by clicking below.

Vote YES on Amendment 1 on August 4, 2026 to renew Missouri's State Parks, Soil & Water Conservation Sales Tax. Not a new tax.

Happy Summer, Friends of Hawn!

We had so much fun hanging out at Whispering Pines Trailhead! Thanks to everyone who came out, grabbed a snack, and showed love for the park during our volunteer appreciation event!

As we head into late summer and fall, here are 3 ways you can continue to support the park:

VOTE: Support Amendment 1 on Aug 4th to renew the Parks, Soils, and Water Sales Tax and keep Missouri state parks free.

ATTEND: Visit our booth at Jour De Fête on Aug 8th, or register for our Fall Maintenance Event on Oct 23–24!

VOLUNTEER: Help us lead behind the scenes by joining our support staff on one of three committees: Trails Maintenance, Networking & Fundraising, or Marketing.
