Santa Needs Help Santa Needs Help is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to support non-profit children’s organizations.

For over 10 years Santa Needs Help has been helping local organizations dedicated to helping children who are terminally ill, children with special needs, and the families of law enforcement officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty. Throughout the year our organization helps at a variety of fundraising events, holiday parties, summer camps and more. At the events our team of helpers br

The Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis is excited to announce that BELONGING, the inspiring project by renowned photographer Randy Bacon, is expanding!

We’re aiming to feature 50 incredible faces in a new BELONGING book, continuing to celebrate the powerful stories and portraits of individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

📸 There’s still time to join! We have a few portrait session spots open — don’t miss your chance to be part of this extraordinary project.

Each portrait session (up to 45 minutes) will include black & white portraits to match the existing exhibition and a short interview to accompany the image.

Cost: $400 per family, which includes:

A set of proofs (minimum of 10 watermarked images) for sharing on social media

One artist-selected, museum-quality edited portrait (16x20), hand-signed by Randy Bacon

25% off additional prints

A digital copy of your final edited story

Our Story

I am telling my story to all my Facebook friends. A group of volunteers started Santa Needs Help in 2004. We began by helping children affected by the HIV virus and cancer. As time went on, our volunteers saw a need and wanted to reach to more children with different needs. We held car washes and bake sales in order to raise money to fund our mission.

Soon after, we registered Santa Needs Help with the State of Missouri and received our 501(c)(3) status. Since the beginning, we have never charged any charity that we have helped. All of our funds come from our generous community and families that we help.

We have expanded our services since the beginning to include popcorn machine, snow cone machine, an exotic petting zoo, and a trackless train that the kids just LOVE!! And Santa himself, of course!

We assist other charities during their events at no cost to them in order to enable those charities to provide the services to the children in need. The various local charities we have helped in the past include:
