Have a washer or electric dryer to donate? 🧺

Some of our new refugee families are being placed into apartments with washer and dryer hookups—but no machines. Having laundry at home would be a tremendous help as they settle in!

If you have a working washer, electric dryer, or both to donate, please email [email protected].

Please note: Dryers must be electric.

Thank you for helping our families make their new apartments feel like home! Please share to help spread the word.

This past Saturday was our September Block Party and we had a great day!

A huge thank you to North County Community Church - NC3 for sponsoring and hosting the block party, as they have faithfully done for the past 15 years! We are so thankful for their continued partnership with Oasis and the refugee families we serve.

A special thank you to Faith Baptist Church - Festus and One Family Church for bringing volunteers to help with setup, teardown and serving throughout the day. And thank you to Mercy’s Child for providing the live music!

There was something for everyone—games, crafts, a piñata smash, bounce house, snow cones, hamburgers and hot dogs, cake walk, raffle prizes and more!

One of the really special things about the day was having people from 17 different countries all together in one place! Friendships were made, and good news and hope were shared!

Our final Block Party of the year will be Saturday, October 17 from 11am–1pm. We hope you can join us!

Every summer, Southgate Church opens its doors to hundreds of kids for Kids of Victory (KOV). For one of those weeks, they sponsor refugee children from Oasis, giving them an unforgettable week of swimming, games, crafts, bowling, outdoor adventures, and lots of laughter. It's also a tremendous blessing to parents, who know their children are safe, having fun, and well cared for each day.

But the greatest part of the week isn't the activities. Every day these children hear the good news of Jesus through Bible teaching, worship, and caring volunteers who faithfully point them to Him.

Thank you, Southgate Church, for your generosity, your partnership, and your heart for refugee families. Your investment is making a difference in lives today—and, by God's grace, for eternity. ❤️
