We welcomed our sweet baby, Stevie, to the world on June 27th. He was born at 33 weeks and 1 day gestation which has earned us our 3rd NICU stay. As all of our fellow NICU families know, no matter how many times you go through this it doesn’t get any easier. Please remember us in your prayers as we navigate this journey and look forward to bringing our sweet baby home. 💙

This Mother’s Day, Sarah’s Sunshine Foundation was honored to host our 2nd Annual NICU Mother’s Day Photo Shoot for families spending this special day in the NICU at Mercy Hospital St. Louis

Our goal was to provide meaningful Mother’s Day photos for moms with their NICU babies while creating special memories during such a challenging season of life.

Founded by one mom after experiencing two of her own infants in the NICU, Sarah’s Sunshine Foundation is rooted in faith and exists to bring comfort, encouragement, and support to families experiencing long-term NICU stays.

Along with the photo experience, we were blessed to pamper these amazing moms with self-care gifts and provide breakfast to enjoy with their family.

This season is heavy, lonely, and so unfair. And still… you are doing an incredible job.
