Lindbergh Schools Foundation

Lindbergh Schools Foundation Providing funds, strength and support to the Lindbergh Schools community. We're Here To Help.

The Lindbergh Schools Foundation was founded in 1998 by a group of Lindbergh parents who shared a strong commitment to Lindbergh’s education, and Lindbergh’s students. The founding board realized that additional resources for significant funding would be needed to maintain the high level of excellence that had long been a trademark of Lindbergh Schools. The commitment was then made to lead the eff

ort to raise additional funds and to form the Foundation. SCHOLARSHIPS
The first efforts of the Foundation were directed toward funding college scholarships for Lindbergh High School seniors. Over the years, the Foundation Scholarship program of the Foundation has expanded to include the financial management and administration of 58 scholarships established in the name of Lindbergh administrators, teachers, coaches or alumni, in addition to the original Foundation Adversity Scholarship. GRANTS
The Spirit of Lindbergh Fund and the Spirit of Lindbergh Teacher Grants program were established to encourage and support the efforts of district teachers who propose innovative projects to engage their students in more creative and exciting ways. This program has evolved into the Innovation Grant Program and is now accessible by any Lindbergh staff member. Since beginning our grant program in January 1, 2008, 400+ Lindbergh staff have received grants of up to $500, totaling more than $181,000. PARTNER PROGRAMS
In 2019 the Lindbergh High School Alumni Association and Lindbergh Lights the Way both became partner committees of the Lindbergh Schools Foundation. Additionally, in 2022 the Lindbergh Retired Educators also became a partner committee of the Foundation. With the addition of these three programs, our arching mission has remained the same, but our depth and reach has increased because of their programs, volunteers, and commitment. You can read more about the Alumni Association, Lindbergh Lights the Way, and Lindbergh Retired Educators, on our website at www.LindberghSchoolsFoundation.org

2024 Lindbergh High School graduate Carrie Maschmann recently shared that the Sperreng PTO Scholarship, Lindbergh Retired Educators Scholarship, and J & A Academic Scholarship helped make it possible for her to study abroad in Madrid, Spain.

Carrie is now a junior at Saint Louis University, where she is studying Medical Sciences, Pre-Optometry.

Thanks to an incredible donor, Lindbergh Early Childhood Education received new resources chosen by staff, including soccer nets, balls, a playhouse, STEM materials, and sensory and dramatic play items.

These tools will support hands-on learning, creativity, and growth for our youngest learners.

We were excited to share this with ECE staff on the last day of school as they begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year.

Thank you for investing in our students. 💚💛

Foundation Executive Director Erica Keating and Development Specialist Andrea Porter attended GiveCon May 18–20 alongside Education Foundation leaders from across the St. Louis area and Missouri.

It was a great opportunity to connect, learn, and bring back new ideas to strengthen our impact. We’re excited to share what we learned with our board and continue supporting Lindbergh students, staff, and families. 💚💛

What a blast at Dressel Rocket Day! 🚀

Earlier this year, 3rd grade teachers at Dressel submitted an Innovation Grant to purchase materials for students to design and build their own rockets and a few months later, those ideas truly took flight! Since receiving the grant, students have been hard at work creating their rockets, all leading up to launch day on Wednesday, May 13.

It was so fun to see their creativity, problem-solving, and excitement come to life!

A special thank you to Kurt Mungenast Companies for making this hands-on learning experience possible through their generous support.

Last night, we celebrated an incredible year at the Foundation Junior Board End-of-Year Banquet! 💚💛

Throughout the year, our students dedicated their time to serving the Lindbergh community through more than 25 volunteer events and 17 board meetings. From helping welcome teachers back for Opening Day, volunteering at the Alumni Banquet, Homecoming Parade, Sunday Night Lights, SunCrest Fest, Special Olympics, History Alive, Scholarship Night, and so much more, these students continuously stepped up to serve others with positivity and leadership.

This year, we also continued our volunteer points system to recognize the amazing commitment our students showed throughout the school year. We are so proud of the impact these students made on our schools and community.

Thank you to our Junior Board members, advisors, and supporters for another wonderful year of service!
