Louis bi-state area to come together to perform challenging and rewarding band literature. The Saint Louis Wind Symphony strives to fulfill our youth outreach mission by providing educational and performance opportunities for area student musicians. The most notable activity is participation in the Saint Louis Wind Symphony Youth Ensemble (formed in 2017). The Youth Ensemble allows high-achieving

young musicians, aged 14-23, from around the St. Louis metro area (including Illinois) to come together to perform challenging and rewarding band literature. Co-directors Sophie Browning-Brodack and Alfredo DeLeon of the Youth Ensemble skillfully blend musical excellence with the ability to motivate and inspire our young musicians. Our goal is to fully utilize the talents and skills of all members of the group to best display their abilities and showcase the ensemble’s talents and strengths as well as offer a meaningful educational experience, while still maintaining a fun and enjoyable atmosphere during weekly rehearsals.

How can you support the Saint Louis Wind Symphony on CYBER MONDAY?

It's easy! You can either donate NOW or wait until tomorrow for GIVING TUESDAY!

We have a fundraising goal of $1,500 to help with our current season's costs, which include MORE performances of both the Saint Louis Wind Symphony AND our affiliate organization, the Saint Louis Wind Symphony Youth Ensemble!

This year's edition of the StLWSYE has an upcoming concert on SUNDAY, December 14th, 7:00pm! An expanded performance season for this ensemble is the brainchild of Youth Ensemble directors Sophie Browning-Brodack and Alfredo DeLeon. We are incredibly proud to have these two outstanding leaders steer the next generation of wind ensemble players to their future!

Please consider a donation to help us support not only OUR efforts and performances but THEIRS as well! Donate at our website: stlwindsym.org

A word from our Saint Louis Wind Symphony:

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

Your Saint Louis Wind Symphony, along with our greater Saint Louis community and beyond will be celebrating the opening day of the holiday giving season, on Giving Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Every year, on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, people kick off the holiday season by giving back to charitable causes, creating a global day of giving known as Giving Tuesday. Tuesday, December 2 is the designated day for donating to a cause you believe in. Please consider showing your support for live and local wind symphony concerts by saving the date as a reminder to your calendar and planning a direct donation through our website.

Why do we need funds? We plan each year to bring an engaging season of live music to local concert halls for the St. Louis community, including a newly expanded Youth Wind Ensemble performance schedule. Purchasing new music, rehearsal and performance hall rentals, and our educational outreach program are all things that need financial support every year. Your contribution helps to continue our mission of introducing youth to the wind ensemble literature available, enriching our community by sharing music, and providing performance opportunities for students in our area.

Giving Tuesday is a global giving movement in which anyone, anywhere can participate. One of the best ways to get involved is in our own community! We hope that you will consider supporting the Saint Louis Wind Symphony on December 2.

Join the Saint Louis Wind Symphony’s Giving Tuesday initiative by visiting our Website to learn more about us, and follow the "Donate" button to give the Gift of Music!

Thank you in advance for planning your charitable donation! After you give, share the link with your friends with the hashtag , so they can support the Saint Louis Wind Symphony, too!
