Youth In Action Kirkwood

Youth In Action is a non-profit 501(c)3. Our members are from 6th to 12th grade from schools in St. Louis City and County. We are promoting responsible citizenship for youth through rewarding volunteer service to the community. We have earned many awards over the years including: Proclamations from the Mayor, the House of Representatives, Senate and the President, The Living Faith Award from the L

utheran Family and Children Services of Missouri and the Club 44 Humanitarian and Achievement Awards. We have worked with Make-A-Wish, Nurses For Newborns, Annie’s Hope, Friends of Kids with Cancer, With God’s Little Ones, Room at the Inn, and Kids Against Hunger. We have helped out during many of the recent natural disasters like the tsunami and earthquake in Japan, the earthquake in Haiti and the tornado in Joplin. We’ve also done many projects including: Operation Christmas Child, Operation Backpack, Gift Giving Tree, Boxes of Love, bake sales, car washes, and lollipop sales among many, many others. Youth In Action builds character and responsibility in the youth of today. Helping others creates a sense of well-being and pride in our members and helps them to put others before themselves.
