Last Thursday was our we had our holiday party in St. Louis, Kansas City and Springfield. We raffled off some prizes and each location had a $100 and a $50 gift card long with a catered dinner. We celebrated our pin recipients including Howard Breihan who received his 60 year pin. Along with Charlie Schrader who was not in attendance but was presented his 75 year pin by his son in law and 43 year member Jeff Zobrist.

The local 1310 meeting will be tomorrow December 11th at 5:30 pm
Meeting locations
4639 West Pfeiffer in Springfield
8955 E 38th Terrace in KC
1401 Hampton Ave in STL.
Each location will have a catered dinner and a $100 or $50 gift card winner. We will also raffle off a TV, Solo Stove, Smoker, and blue tooth speaker. Any member who signs in and is not on the e-board or a Rep will be eligible for those raffles. We hope you can make it.

The loss of a legend…
We are very sad to announce the passing of long time carpet instructor Ron Notheis. He was a 56 year member and was known for his attention to detail as well as entertaining stories. He was the carpet instructor during the creation of INSTALL Floors and undoubtedly contributed to the initial curriculum. His classroom full of hand crafted carpet murals such as the frog choking a stork to prevent it from being eaten with the expression “never give up”.
We will miss you.

  A proud US Army veteran and beloved son, brother and uncle passed away Tuesday November 18, 2025 at the age of 78. Ronald was born to Katherine “Kay” Notheis and Walter S. Notheis, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother…

Here's a vinyl installation from a couple weeks ago. A small "patriotic" installation in Resilient 3 class by apprentice Zach Brye. Red, white, and blue homogeneous sheet vinyl with welded seams and scroll work.

Nathaniel is a member in the Springfield area and works for Flooring Systems Inc. They were celebrating Oliver's 2nd birthday when he fell into the fire pit. As we know, these things happen so quickly. Luckily the fire was going out with no flames but still suffered serious burns and is currently undergoing emergency treatment. As they focus on being with Oliver, the financial strain is starting to take a toll on their household. With one parent needing to stay home to provide care, their two-income situation is now reduced to one, which is a significant challenge.

To help ease some of their burdens, a GoFundMe has been set up. The funds raised will go directly towards helping them manage bills during this critical time and any unexpected expenses that may come up. Even a small contribution can make a difference, and if you're unable to donate, sharing this message would be incredibly helpful.
