A time was had at SLU Day at , bringing a full BGG Foundation gaming experience to the park! Huge thanks to .education and Ryan for making this possible. I been visiting this park since a child and it’s a full circle moment bringing my foundation here!

🎉 Meet .play2much, the 2XKO Anime St. Louis Champion and a true inspiration! 🎮

I met Tisse about 3 ½ years ago through the Ferguson Youth Initiative and soon discovered his passion for gaming. Watching him dominate the tournament with an impressive undefeated streak and become the first 2XKO Anime St. Louis champion was nothing short of amazing.

His journey is a proud moment for BGG and our community. In his post-game interview, he shared how BGG has lit a fire under him—fueling his passion and pushing him to take gaming seriously. This is exactly the space we strive to create: one where gamers can grow, connect, and thrive.

So proud of you, Montisse! Here’s to many more victories ahead. 🔥💪

I had the pleasure of visiting St. Charles West High School’s MOCAS program: Men of Color Attaining Success. Speaking with these incredible young men about BGG Foundation,
I was able to ignite their curiosity and passion for gaming, streaming, and the gaming industry.

What always stands out to me is the importance of men of color seeing other men of color thriving and leading the way.
Representation is more than just a visual, it’s a source of inspiration that empowers these young men to believe they can go further, achieve more, and break barriers. These kids are the source of why I do what I do. To give back to my community through gaming, to build bridges, and to create shared experiences that resonate far beyond the screen.

Because at the end of the day, what remains with us? Moments we share and the memories we create together. These experiences are our legacy, and they fuel our collective strength. I am proud of these young men and the bright futures they hold. Let’s keep making more moments, and building a community where every young man of color can see themselves reflected in success and possibility.

We had an incredible turnout for our BGG Gaming @ The Library program at the Thornhill Library Branch.
Each program proves it is about much more than gaming. It is about building community, fostering inclusion, and creating safe spaces where everyone feels welcome.

Through G@TL, we see participants develop real time valuable skills like teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking while connecting with people they might never have met otherwise.

Beyond the games, we are witnessing meaningful friendships form, confidence grow, and barriers break down. Whether new or experienced gamers, everyone finds a place here.

We are proud to be part of a movement that strengthens communities and changes lives through the power of play.

Huge thank you to , Our BGG team, and volunteers!
Also our friends at for supplying 🔥🔥 different flavored popcorn that were gone before the program was over 😂

See you all at the next one May 2nd at the Grants View Branch 🔥💯

I was honored to be the keynote speaker at the Annual Oratorical Essay Competition hosted by The National Association of University Women STL. This was my second year speaking at this amazing event.

Students from grades 4 to 12 shared essays on the importance of critical thinking. These inspiring women of color have been supporting our youth through this competition for over 20 years, helping them become strong writers and speakers.

One student wrote about how gaming helps him develop critical thinking skills. That moment really hit home for me and the work we do at BGG.

Thank you to the incredible Association of University Women STL who continue to invest in our future and uplift the next generation.
