Happy Women’s Veterans Day! 🎖️❤️

Today, we honor the incredible courage, sacrifice, and dedication of all women who have answered the call to serve our country.

While we are always privileged to welcome female heroes on our regularly scheduled Greater St. Louis Honor Flights, last year gave us a memory that will last a lifetime. In June 2025, we had the profound honor of hosting our historic "Women of Valor" All-Female Honor Flight (Mission 111).

Looking at this photo from the Military Women’s Memorial in Washington, D.C., we are reminded of the sheer power, resilience, and sisterhood of these veterans. From different eras and branches of service, they flew together, remembered together, and stood tall together.
To all the women who have worn the uniform—past, present, and future: Thank you. Your legacy of valor paved the way for so many, and America is freer because of you.

Today, we pause to remember June 6, 1944 — D-Day. Eighty-two years ago, more than 156,000 Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy, facing impossible odds to begin the liberation of Europe.
Many never made it off those beaches. They left behind families, dreams, and futures so that generations to come could live in freedom.
As we reflect on their Courage and Sacrifice, let us remember that Freedom is Never Free. It was earned by ordinary men who did extraordinary things in the face of unimaginable danger.
To the Greatest Generation and all who have served, we offer our deepest Gratitude and Respect. May we always honor their legacy by living worthy of the "Freedoms They Secured."
"These are the boys of Pointe du Hoc. These are the men who took the cliffs. These are the champions who helped free a continent."
We were fortunate, privileged, and honored to have taken most of these Heroes and Heroines, to their WWII Memorial.. We will never forget the Friendships we created with our Greatest Generation. You are not Forgotten! 🇺🇸SALUTE. 🇺🇸

On the 115th Greater St. Louis Honor Flight, a grandfather's journey home became even more meaningful when he discovered his grandson was the pilot bringing him back to St. Louis. A special tribute to service, sacrifice, and family.
