We stand on 33 years of hard work. 💙

"In 1993, [St. Francis Xavier College Church] founded the ID program. Over the course of the past 33 years, the program has worked to raise the profile of the issue, the barriers that the homebound and homeless face in trying to secure an ID, and the plight of American residents who cannot prove their ID.

In 2019, College Church helped found the Missouri State ID Access Coalition. The coalition began as monthly meetings at the College Church among agencies who were seeing clients repeatedly run up against the same barriers. It has led to other agencies adopting ID programs like the College Church’s model. In 2022, the coalition saw a major change for unhoused Missouri residents when the Department of Revenue created a form to allow a person without a stable permanent address to certify that they lived in Missouri by giving the address of a 'service provider'."

📸 IDs within reach, wherever our neighbors are.

On Monday, the Ashrei Foundation team took our Photo ID Clinic on the road to The Salvation Army St. Louis West Page Corps Family Haven, helping 20 residents take an important step toward accessing the identification they need to move forward.

From birth certificates to Missouri Photo IDs, we’re proud to meet people where they are and make the process a little easier, more accessible, and more dignified.

Thank you to the team at Family Haven for welcoming us and helping make this clinic possible! 💙
