One Million Bones Missouri

One Million Bones Missouri In June 2013, we will flood the National Mall in Washington, D.C. with 1,000,000 handmade bones as a We are challenging people all across the U.S.

One Million Bones combines art and activism to raise awareness about genocide and other humanitarian crises, specifically in Somalia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Burma, and Sudan. to take a stand, make a bone, and give a voice to those who do not have one. Through making clay bones we remember victims and survivors and remind ourselves that we are all united. Each bone generates $1 to CARE International to provide relief and life-saving assistance in these nations.
