Today we join the Marianist Family around the world in celebrating the 26th anniversary of the beatification of Blessed William Joseph Chaminade, founder of the Society of Mary.

Fr. Chaminade believed that communities rooted in faith could transform the world by bringing Christ to others through the example of Mary. More than 200 years later, his vision continues to shape the way we educate at Vianney by forming young men of character and accomplishment rooted in Family Spirit.

The Marianist Province of the United States founded St. John Vianney High School, along with other Marianist schools and universities across the country. Today, we are grateful to continue the mission Fr. Chaminade began.

The Vianney Paintball Club is back in action!

This past weekend, they met at Xtreme Paintball Park in Millstadt, Illinois for their first gathering of the year.

💪 Learning Beyond the Classroom!

Our Lifetime Health & Fitness students visited 1st Phorm today connecting to real world careers and experiences! Our students explored topics including health, fitness, nutrition, training, and the work happening at 1st Phorm.

Go Griffins!

After missing last season with an injury, Vianney senior Robert Eatherton made up for the lost time Thursday night. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound running back led the Golden Griffins to a 35-23 victory in their season opener against the Lindbergh Flyers.

Eatherton, who has verbally committed to Missouri State, scored five touchdowns on runs of 54, 13, 27, 10 and 45 yards. He finished with an eye-popping 272 yards on 25 carries.

And, says Vianney coach Chris Starkey, "I think he’s just scratching the surface of what he can do."
