What are your doing September 19th? We are looking for a few members to help us out for an hour or two.

The annual Pollinator Palooza takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Weldon Spring Site Interpretive Center located at 7295 Hwy 94 South in St. Charles, MO.

This free, family-friendly event is hosted by the Missouri Pollinator Network.Event
Highlights:
Hands-on activities and crafts for all ages
Monarch migration education and conservation tips
Missouri Made market with local craft, flower, and garden vendors
Native plants available for purchase
Food trucks on-site for lunch and treats
Free parking available on-site

6:30 p.m. - Banquet guests will gather at the Lily Pond outside the Jewel Box to watch SLWGS film the Waterlily Weigh-Off competition.

Thanks to our volunteers for maintenance at the Jewel Box this morning. First time and returning volunteers are welcome, Saturdays, 8 am (earlier time now is to beat the heat). Usually we are finished working on the waterlilies in about a couple hours. Images from today: Victoria waterlily buds, the tropical waterlily 'Plum Crazy', and the upper and lower pad surfaces of tropical waterlily 'Miami Rose'.
