Mortar Board is wrapping up the semester with a benefit night at Bear-y Sweet Shoppe TOMORROW (Dec. 8) from 6-8 PM. Make sure to stop by and treat yourself to some candy to support Mortar Board and the Mortar Board National Foundation's literacy promotion efforts around the country!

Meet Mortar Board member Nisha Patel! She is from Marietta, GA and is double majoring in Neuroscience & Spanish. Apart from being Mortar Board's Fundraising Chair, she is also an RA, Biology Lab TA, Research Assistant, Casa de Salud Interpreter, member of APO, AED, Cadence with Care, and Sur Taal Laya.

If that long list of commitments made you feel inadequate, don't worry because there's still time for juniors going abroad next semester to apply to WUSTL's only sneior honors society - Mortar Board!

Meet Abby Gordon! She is from New York City and studies American Culture Studies at WashU with a minor in Writing. Besides Mortar Board, she is also involved in The Moth WashU, WUTV, Chi Omega, and Campus Y Koaches for Kids! Plus, she is an amazing canoer.

If you are a junior going abroad, apply to Mortar Board and you too could be as cool as Abby!
